Simplement’s Newest Tool: Roundhouse

Roundhouse Extract SAP Data

History

Simplement has been focused on extracting SAP data for over 25 years. With this experience, we created one of the first S4 SAP Certified tools: Roundhouse. Roundhouse enables real-time data extraction from SAP systems to any database target. Data is easily consumed and shared in Power BI, Tableau, or other solutions.

What’s the Problem?

Analysts often struggle to find root causes without full access to detailed data. Simplement gives them complete data to investigate issues—user actions, dates, changes, and previous entries—allowing them to correct and prevent errors. Currently, analysts fish through multiple tables with tools like BOBJ or SE16N, but SAP’s complexity with 100,000+ tables makes it tough. Simplement solves this by giving analysts controlled access to see the data they need.

Governance

Roundhouse is designed for governance. Sensitive data, like HR data, can be isolated in a separate database, while other data can be split into different databases for finance or other departments. Roundhouse supports multiple database types (AWS, SQL, Snowflake, etc.) from the same SAP system.

Simplement = Simple

Simplement focuses on simplicity: easy installation, configuration, and data consumption. We’ve tested every data type and length to make sure data extraction is easy and reporting is seamless. Many functions already have pre-configured templates, providing data in days and reports in weeks.

Multiple SAP Systems?

Consolidating data from multiple SAP systems is hard, but Simplement makes it easy. Instead of relying on overburdened IT teams, Simplement allows real-time data consolidation, reducing hidden costs. With Roundhouse, you can easily join data, create reports, and adjust them as needed.

Acquisitions with SAP

Planning an acquisition? Consolidate system data quickly and easily. Our customers often drop BOBJ/BW and find long-awaited reports delivered within months. Simplement helps uncover any issues early in the acquisition process and provides full access to all SAP data for analysis.

If you would like to discuss any of this or have difficulties with reporting SAP data, please reach out to us and ask for Christopher Grancher.
